Prenatal Yoga Workshop - (suitable for those 16wks and above)
This workshop will cover key postures to help open the body,breathwork for labour, positions for labour using birthing balls plus the basics of infant massage,behavioural states, babies and stress. This workshop can be taken on its own or prior to starting a block of classes.
Venue: Samaritans, 6 Old Glamis Rd, Dundee
Time: tbc
Cost: tbc (incl handouts, refreshments and biscuits)
Prenatal workshops can be booked privately for small groups and run from someone's home, providing there is a suitable non-smoking space.
Booking terms and conditions
- Each new student is required to complete a registration form prior to a prenatal workshop.
- The venue, if someone's home should ideally have no stairs to the room where the workshop will take place.
- Payment to be received either via cheque or direct bank transfer prior to the workshop start date. Refunds cannot be given once a workshop has been paid for unless the place can be filled by someone else (any workshop cancelled by Alison will be rescheduled or refunded in full).
- There are a limited number of places on each workshop – all places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis with places only being confirmed on receipt of payment.
Postnatal and Infant Yoga Classes (8wks to 1yr), starts 29th August 2011
These classes are great for gently building up your strength and stamina in the postnatal stage, something for you and your baby with lots of songs plus you get to meet other mums in a small and friendly atmosphere.
Postnatal and Baby Yoga class (age 8 weeks to 1 year) in The Community Cabin, South Union Street, Monifieth.
Parent and Child Yoga class (age 1yr-3yrs+) in the Community Cabin, South Union Street, Monifieth.
